In 2018 IKEA and Tom Dixon collaborated on a new type of sofa called Delaktig. A collaboration between Tom Dixon and IKEA is an unusual one. IKEA designs products for the many. Tom Dixon, not so much.
Inspired by this pairing, MING worked with both Tom Dixon and IKEA to create a series of films that brought together two people with expertise in the same field but approach their craft from entirely different perspectives.
Tom Dixon is a self-taught, British designer. Marcus Engman is Head of Design at IKEA.
Director Spike Jonze talks with the smartest man in the world, Christopher Langan, who theorizes about artificial intelligence, consciousness, and God.
